A BRIEF HISTORY
2010 was a great year. Why? Digging Bits was founded by a few blokes that combined countless years of industry experience from both attachment manufacturers and machinery dealers. We noticed a gap in the market for customers to research and purchase digging bits online. From augers to ramps, trenchers to pallet forks, and everything in between, we’re hell bent on providing our customers with the sharpest prices on all their machinery attachments.
From the get-go, we’ve done things a little differently. With no “bricks and mortar” store, we not only pass on great prices, we are available to customers Australia wide. A company that prides ourselves on quality people and terrific customer service, we love what we do which guarantees a first class purchasing experience. Our products are sourced with deep consideration to ensure we only sell proven brands that are the highest quality available on the market.
Most importantly, we try not to take ourselves too seriously, continually search for an edge in the way we do things and don’t see Digging Bits as a job, but rather a lifestyle.

Adam Littlechild
Team Player
“Jack of all trades, master of none”. One of the founders, Adam spends his time glued to a computer screen trying to understand the beast that is e-commerce! Having spent time working in the sales team at Digga, he’s had experience on the manufacturer side of things and doesn’t mind spinning a yarn or two about the products on offer. -
Lawrie Littlechild
Bean Counter
Someone has to do it. What’s more, “Laz’s” skillset doesn’t really lend himself to sales and in turn he is better off spending his time keeping the tax office off our backs! A bloke known to play an incredibly straight bat, his level head keeps the motley crew at Digging Bits in check and finances in tact. -
Bruce Matthews
Sales Guru
The man can sell “ice to Eskimos” and more importantly, machinery attachments to machine owners! Bruce is our easy going salesman, champion footballer (just ask him) and father of two. A Victorian until his early 20s, Bruce has worked on manufacturer and dealer side, escaped the home of AFL to prowl the South Australian landscape and now in his early 30s, considers himself a real estate mogul. -
Joe Bloggs
Silent Partner
Whether he is incredibly humble or potentially hiding from the authorities, “Joe Bloggs” holds the key to our knowledge base. With over 12 years industry experience at his peril, there isn’t an attachment suitability question that he can’t answer. One day he’ll show face. For now, we sleep easy knowing that each customer is purchasing the right equipment for their machine and the varied jobs they tackle.
